![]() ![]() ![]() Got three out of four generators, then ran out of time, and then they blew the Edict up. Boarding missions feels like tunnel fighters would be acceptable, so I had a random selection of knights. It's not unreasonable to deploy whoever you've got. Originally posted by MorganaMalefica:"They're the easiest mission as long as you can cheese them" isn't the. This would restore the challenge of having to balance the 3 categories of Edict upgrades, and make those encounters a meaningful choice based on what resources you need and level of risk. Off the top of my head, destroying a cruiser by Edict guns could be the only way to gain Requisition from Death Guard Encounters, while the boarding option could just be for the seeds + xp. I don't know if this is a result of the easy Death Guard solution, or if I've just been lucky in some other way. I am also floating about 50 servitors, a position I've never enjoyed in my 3 previous runs. Investing in Edict guns gets you +2 Req IIRC, but with a chance of hull damage or worse.īasically, it's gone from an event lottery and ship maintenance mechanic, to an easy/repetitive grind mission and the choice is a no-brainer. Boarding missions gives you +3 req, + whatever seeds, + whatever XP. My concern is, should I even bother with Void Shields and Gun Battery anymore? I'm half way through the game without any hull damage or need for guns. ![]() And it's not like you have to kill all enemies either. Plague marines want to stall you out by shooting and hiding behind cover, so don't play their game! Teleport and use grenades. My experience has been that they are some of the easiest missions on Legendary - so long as you use appropriate tactics. I saw in another thread complaints about these missions being hard, and honestly, I was shocked. ![]()
